It seems like we’ll have an incredible time, right? This is why we think it’s essential to give back a little to all those peoplethat have entertained us for years and that with the lockdown of Vallarta’snightlife they have suffered a severe downfall in their main incomes and thisis why the Puerto Vallarta Nightlife Relief Fund was created, with the purposeof giving financial help to the workers in the nightlife industry as long asthe current crisis keeps going. This is why other topics will beenjoyed, such as queer yoga sessions, dance classes, karaoke shows, street artvirtual tours, zumba, cooking and cocktails classes, and many, many moreactivities that will make us feel that we’re having just as much fun as we hadlast year. This is how the idea of making the Virtual PrideFestival was born, a non official event via Facebook Live in the PuertoVallarta VIRTUAL Pride Week page, from June 8th to the 14th and it willbroadcast amazing performances, shows, music and tons of LGBT fun from the bestentertainers in the city and in the world, such as Miss Conception, MichelGiglia, Mama Tits y Tonny Kenneth, or the unforgettable shows of the RomanticZone that have watched us sweat so many times, like The Dirty Bitches Show fromBlue Chairs or the emblematic show from la Noche.īut we know that we have to offer so much more in thisPride, we have to heighten the touristic destination to the levels we are usedto and offer everything that’s in our hands. But we know well thatthe people of Vallarta and the city lovers don’t give up that easily and thisis how, prioritizing everyone’s health, they’ve decided not to give up on thefun and the message that Pride brings us every year.
As it was expected, this year we won’t have thecelebration of Vallarta Pride, just as it happened with this and any othermassive event worldwide, due to the pandemic of Covid-19.
